Sooyeon Hong  "Hibot"  Done in 1996. Acrylic  on Linen. 15" x 15" Stretched. Unframed. Unsigned. Comes with a gallery authenticity certificate.

The artist is from Seoul, Korea. Has a  B.F.A. and a M.F.A. from Hong Kong University and studied in NY at  Pratt Institute receiving a M.F.A.  Her paintings at the time of completion were explained by her as being plankton as found in water. Her process as watched while making corrections for exhibition in a gallery was a liquid acrylic with a medium that she pours on the surface of the linen and moves the canvas as she blows on the paint letting the paint settle where she desires. This process gives a very fluid, ethereal effect but it is very difficult to do and requires great control by the artist.

The Stretched or Framed painting must be wrapped as received in multiple layers when returning. Include authorization number with your name, address and email with the artwork.
