The artist is from Seoul, Korea. Has a B.F.A. and a M.F.A. from Hong Kong University and studied in NY at Pratt Institute receiving a M.F.A. Her paintings at the time of completion were explained by her as being plankton as found in water. Her process as watched while making corrections for exhibition in a gallery was a liquid acrylic with a medium that she pours on the surface of the linen and moves the canvas as she blows on the paint letting the paint settle where she desires. This process gives a very fluid, ethereal effect but it is very difficult to do and requires great control by the artist.
